I am a prime example of this article I was a heavey smoker for24 years and have had 3 heart attacks that have been attributed to smoking I have 5 stints and have high blood pressur and diabetes I stoped smoking in 2005 at the first heart attack but the damage had already been done.Was diagnosed with diebetes in2007 at the second heart attack with blood sugar of 475 and triglycerideswell over 700,the third attack it just happened i stopped some meds and there it went we have to watch every day now to see that diet is right and meds are take properly all thanks to ciggerets and tobbaco
